Refund & Cancellation Policy

How cancellations, deposits, refunds and monthly plan cancellations work for KAMU STUDIO website projects.

Last updated: 2026-10-21

Scope

This policy explains cancellations and refunds for KAMU STUDIO's custom website projects and the monthly plans. Read it together with our Terms of Service.

Why there are no "returns"

Our services are custom digital work. There is nothing to send back, and work already done cannot be returned, so refunds depend on the stage of the project and the work completed, as described below. This does not limit the rights in "Your rights under the law".

Cancelling before work starts

Before you pay anything, your quote tells you when work counts as started and what is refunded if you cancel before then.

Deposits

Every package starts with a deposit of 50% of its price, paid before work begins. Your quote states the amount, what it covers and whether it is refundable, before you pay it.

Work already done and milestones

If a project is cancelled after work starts, charges reflect the work completed up to the cancellation date.

Partial and finished work

Cancelling a monthly plan

Hosting, migration and handover when the plan ends

When the plan ends, the hosting we provide ends too.

How to ask for a refund

  1. Email [email protected] with "Refund request" in the subject.
  2. Include your name, business name, project or invoice details and the reason.
  3. We confirm we received it and review it against your agreement and this policy.

We reply within 24 hours and tell you when to expect a decision.

Processing

Your bank may take extra time to show the refund.

Your rights under the law

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you, including consumer protection law where it applies. Where those rights give you more than this policy, they apply.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not affect projects already agreed unless your agreement says otherwise.
